Ground Chicken Taco Meat

I love this recipe. Adding the peppers to the pan increases flavor within the ground chicken. I also prefer ground chicken in this recipe rather than ground beef. This is a great recipe for meal prepping or a quick weeknight dinner!

RECIPE CARD

TIME TO MAKE: 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 2 tbsp cumin

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • ½ tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 red peppers

  • 1 green pepper

  • Olive oil

 INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Chop red and green peppers.

  2. Add all spices to a bowl.

  3. Add 1tbsp olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Add the peppers to the pan for 5 minutes, stirring consistently.

  4. Add the ground chicken and spices to the pan with peppers. Stir consistently.

  5. Cook until the ground chicken is fully cooked (internal temp of 165F).

SERVE WITH: tortillas or Spanish rice! Also pairs great with my guacamole recipe.
