Basil & Lemon Salmon
Salmon is a quick and lean protein that is easy to serve with many sides. I generally serve it with an array of veggies, but it is also great with rice or orzo! This recipe only gives how I cook this light, airy salmon!
RECIPE CARD
TIME TO COOK: about 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 salmon filets
½ tsp garlic
1 tsp basil
1/2 lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine garlic, basil, lemon juice and salmon in airtight container.
Allow the combination to marinate for about one hour prior to cooking.
Heat oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Put marinated salmon on baking sheet. Cook until salmon is thoroughly cooked (internal temp 145F). Should take about 20 minutes.
