Maple Glazed Brussel sprouts

Simple, sweet and delicious. This Brussel sprout recipe comes three of my favorite things: vegetables, sweets, and cheese. You may be thinking to yourself, how does maple syrup pair with parmesan? TRUST ME. This is a great veggie side dish to add to any holiday menu you have.

RECIPE CARD

 

TIME TO MAKE: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 16 oz brussel sprouts

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ tbsp olive oil

  • 1/8 cup shredded parmesan

  • Salt & pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425F.

  2. Cut the bottom off of the brussel sprouts and then cut them in half.

  3. Toss the brussel sprouts in the maple syrup, olive oil, parmesan and salt & pepper.

  4. Put on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 25 minutes.

  5. Serve!

TIPS

  • You can top these off with a sprinkle of parmesan once they are finished cooking if you want to add another layer of flavor.

  • I love to serve the with steak or prime rib. So yummy!
