GROUND CHICKEN TERIYAKI

Quick, easy and flavor filled weeknight meal! This is also great for meal prep!

TIME: about 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 14oz ground chicken

  • 1 cup chopped green onion

  • Rice

  • TERIYAKI SAUCE

    • 1 cup water

    • ½ cup soy sauce

    • 2 tsp brown sugar

    • 1 tsp ginger

    • ¼ tsp garlic powder

    • 2 tsp corn starch

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cook rice according to package

  2. Make sauce by adding all ingredients and stir until combined.

  3. Add ½ cup green onion, chicken, and ½ cup teriyaki sauce to a medium saute pan. Cook on medium heat until chicken is fully cooked. Add remainder of sauce to pan. Allow to simmer on low.

  4. Once rice and chicken are fully cooked – serve!
