Crock Pot: Light Buttered Chicken
I love buttered chicken and I love crock pot meals. This also makes amazing meal prep for the week. This recipe has great flavor and is a lighter version of buttered chicken.
RECIPE CARD
TIME: 4-6 hours on low
INGREDIENTS
1 lbs chicken breasts
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 yellow onion diced
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp coriander
4 cloves garlic
1 can tomato paste
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 can coconut milk
3 tbsp butter
Can diced tomatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
Dice onion.
Put all ingredients in in crock pot.
Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours. Stir a few times.
Serve with rice and/or naan!
