Mozzarella Orzo

This recipe tastes like adult mac and cheese. I am a huge fan of cheese in general and am always trying to find ways to add it to dishes. This is for any cheese-lover in your house. If you think this may have too much cheese for your household, taste as you go. Add in a little bit at a time until you find the perfect ratio of cheese to orzo.

 I tend to pair this recipe with salmon, but it would be delicious to serve with any main dish. I also think that this recipe would be great to serve alone with some veggies, especially if you have kiddos in your house.

RECIPE CARD

 

TIME TO COOK: 20 minutes

SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz orzo

  • 1/2 cup parmesan

  • ½ cup mozzarella

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp pepper

  • ½ tbsp salt

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook orzo according to packaging.

  2. Once orzo is drained, place back in the pan.

  3. Combine butter, parmesan, mozzarella, pepper and salt with the orzo.

  4. Once it is thoroughly combined, serve!
